Through the use of expert advice, this EPSS will support the Chemistry teacher
in planning an effective lab component to their course. Each lab will contain the following expert advice:
- Introduction/explanation of the lab and its purpose
- Estimated time to complete the lab
- Any equipment needed
- Safety concerns
- Any special clean up concerns
- Notes to the teacher on ‘what can go wrong’
- A copy of the student lab sheet
As
this EPSS is web-based, the information and knowledge will be available on a “just-in-time” manner when the teacher
needs it.

or downloaded on a home computer with the virtual lab found at:
This is a great way for students who are absent for a lab to get a feel
for what happened during their absence.
